- Manage program budget; submit purchase orders to order program supplies, materials, and equipment (training provided)

- Maintain facility, supplies, and equipment in an excellent, clean, and safe condition
- Design/manage staff work schedules and, when necessary, find substitute staff or fill in personally
- Monitor and support daily mealtimes according to State guidelines (training provided)
- Organize and maintain student records and the confidentiality of all students, parents, and staff
- Assist in conducting Orientation and other training of new/assigned staff, as needed
- Conduct routine site staff meetings as needed or determined by Director of Operations (DO)
- Submit required reports and records on time to the Director of Operations.
- Participate in Site Coordinator meetings, staff meetings, professional development, training, etc. as assigned by the DO or Human Resources
- Implement established AK behavioral expectations and disciplinary procedures in accordance with the facility's Student Handbook policies and procedures
- Keep EdD informed of plans, progress, problems, concerns, and successes
- Perform Summer Camp staff supervision and development, including performance appraisals and (pre/post) planning
- Assist with daily preparation, set up/break down, clean up, and other activities as needed
- Inform supervisor immediately of any suspected child physical or sexual abuse; required as a Mandatory Reporter (ref. school's/site's Incident & Accident Reporting guidelines; see also AK Employee Handbook)
- Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this role is to provide highly responsible, administrative, and managerial work in directing a program site's staff/personnel, operations management, and training and development activities.
An Artportunity Knocks' Site Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a designated Artportunity Knocks program site. This manager should be experienced in leadership or supervisory roles, with the competency to oversee all parties involved on the worksite, including staff, student, and parent relations; act as school/site administration liaison; and enforce health, safety, and ethics protocols. More duties are listed below.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study; requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job is required including education, training, and management experience. Experience working with children (preferably school-age children) in a group or semi-structured setting, as well as program planning, staff management and logistics coordination are required. Previous experience with staff training, demonstrated leadership ability, and a minimum of 3 years in management/supervisory experience.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Current Standard First Aid Certification/ Child & Adult CPR Certification preferred. A valid driver's license with an available vehicle for work is required.
NOTES: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of lightweight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time walking, standing, and/or sitting at a keyboard or workstation.
