Location

  • This position is located at 22 Atwood Drive, Northampton, MA. This multispecialty medical office building is a part of Cooley Dickinson's Atwood Health Center, a spacious facility with a variety of Cooley Dickinson services and serves as a onestop health and wellness destination.
While working at 22 Atwood, you will be able to support a variety of offices/specialties, including but not limited to:

Women's Health, the Diabetes Center, Infectious Diseases, Family Medicine, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Podiatry, Spine Medicine, and Integrated Behavioral Health.


Role Overview

  • We are seeking a fulltime, 40hour Patient Services Representative (PSR) to serve as the face of our medical group and play a key role in managing the patient experience on the reception/administrative support side. Job functions will include a blend of checkin/checkout, managing phones, and administrative support, which will rotate on a weekly basis. We are looking for wellrounded customer service professionals who can multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a highvolume outpatient setting

Schedule

  • The schedule consists of 4,10hour days, 7:30am6pm. The working days will only be on weekdays between Monday through Friday, so there will be one weekday off/flex.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Familiarity with insurance payers preferred
  • Minimum of six (6) months reception or customer service experience required, preferably in a health care setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology preferred
