- Monitor machinery health by evaluating temperature and vibration characteristics at specified intervals.
- Check machine alignment and levels at designated checkpoints.
- Record machine operation data using provided charts.
- Dismantle and replace defective mechanical and electrical parts in machines or equipment.
- Inspect various components like gears, pulleys, wheels, chains for signs of wear and tear.
- Lubricate and clean machine parts such as gears, shafts, pulleys, and bearings.
- Perform maintenance tasks like painting to prevent corrosion, cleaning inaccessible machine areas, and handling electrical connections.
- Execute pipe, hose, and pneumatic fitting installations based on schematics or instructions to meet compressed air needs.
- Connect electrical wiring to equipment, replace switches and fuses, and insulate wires securely.
- Thread, cut, and bend pipes, create openings for installations, and seal joints effectively.
- Repair or join metal parts using welding equipment.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools required for job completion.
- Ensure cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment, adhering to scheduled machine preventive maintenance.
- Undertake routine tasks and attend training sessions for enhancing job skills.
- Accurately log information in PM sheets and Pass down sheets.

Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components, identifying the need for replacements or repairs, and ordering necessary parts. You may undergo formal training or an apprenticeship in your specialized area, requiring 2-4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in industry practices, procedures, and concepts is essential, with tasks typically guided by established instructions and protocols under direct supervision from the Plant Manager.
