    Position:
    Automotive Diesel Technician


    Job Summary:
    Firkins CDJR in BRADENTON, Florida is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to join our team.

    This is a full-time, individual contributor role that offers a competitive salary of $90000 to $120000 per year, paid weekly.

    The Automotive Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel vehicles in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and repair diesel vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
    • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
    • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs and services performed
    • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs
    • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
    • Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Diesel Technician
    • ASE certifications in diesel engines, electrical systems, and brake systems preferred
    • Proficient in diagnostic tools and equipment
    • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
    • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
