Service Technician manages all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.They diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
They are responsible for the service and customer support during field visits and dispatches. Essential FunctionsTroubleshoots and diagnoses all types of equipment to ensure proper working condition on the job site or in the shopPerforms routine equipment clean-up and upkeep as well as safety review and pre-delivery inspectionsInspects, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions and adjusts heavy equipment as required and completes all paperwork on the equipment to which the individual is assignedParticipate in all training programs directed by Service ManagerBring to the attention of the Service Manager any shop tools, equipment or vehicle that is not in a serviceable condition or unsafe to useMaintains tools in good working order per MSHA and OSHA regulationsCompletes basic computer tasks including completing work orders, looking up parts, and communicating via emailCommunicates with coworkers and customers to ensure top quality equipment is always available and customer expectation is exceededProvide service and customer support during field visits or dispatchesTie workflow to schedule
