- Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is currently looking for a qualified Gynecologic Oncologist to join their team as the System Section Head. This role involves providing counseling, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services related to gynecologic cancers. Additionally, the position requires dedicating 2 hours a week to the role of system section head.
- The Gynecologic Oncology division at Corewell Health is rapidly expanding, with services offered at various campuses, including Royal Oak, Dearborn, Troy, Grosse Pointe, and Farmington Hills. The division is fully supported by a dedicated team of office managers, nurses, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and front office staff.
- Physician will provide services in compliance with operational, financial, and patient satisfaction goals. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring patient needs, communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop positive working relationships and promote a culture of safety and teamwork
- Demonstrate commitment to providing personalized care and exceeding customer expectations
- Assist in meeting operational and patient satisfaction goals
- Complete all competencies and organizational mandatories in a timely manner
- Provide quality medical services to patients in a cost-effective manner
- Communicate regularly with patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding patient care
- Doctorate Required
- Fellowship required
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
- Must hold valid medical licenses and certifications
- Various physical requirements ranging from lifting to sitting, standing, and walking
