5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Familiarity with international product safety, electrical safety codes and regulatory standards: including CUE, IEC, ISO 13849, IEC 62061, ANSI/RIA 15.06, NFPA 70E, UL 508A, IEC 60204
Key job responsibilities

  • Maintain an up to date understanding of Electrical Safety regionalglobal regulatory requirements and industry best practices and be able to build compliance systems and programs around these requirements.
  • Develop and improve maintenance programs and policies for electrical systems, including audits of existing programs in compliance with local codes and global standards
  • Partner with Risk Management and other key stakeholders in changes to the electrical system maintenance programs, aligning with insurance requirements as applicable, including system inspections and testing
  • Experience leading change across multiple sites/locations and the ability to influence those that are not direct reports or within your organization.
  • Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
  • Support operations, construction, and other relevant departments with product development and testing
  • Audit electrical system maintenance practices regionally globally to identify deviations and corrective actions.
  • Monitor trends in electrical system maintenance reports, and escalate as necessary to drive improvements to maintenance activities, or immediate corrective actions to electrical systems.
  • Develop and improve installation, commissioning, and inspection processes, including audit practices, related to electrical systems.
  • Provide support to global electrical safety program as required
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in electrical safety in supporting stakeholders from multiple organizations.
  • Consult, answer questions, perform studies, research and direct electrical safety operations and procedures.
