The U.S. Athletic Training Center is a sports physical therapy and athletic training facility located in Manhattan, NY. We specialize in sports orthopedic injuries, but treat a wide variety of patients ranging in age from 4 to 84. Our center has become home to scores of professional and world-class athletes, executives, and actors who love the training room atmosphere. All our trainers have academic degrees in kinesiology, human physiology, or exercise science.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Athletic Trainer (ATC) or Exercise Physiologist/PT Assistant at the U.S. Athletic Training Center. The role involves daily tasks such as providing injury prevention, athletic training, strength & conditioning, and rehabilitation services. The incumbent will also assist in implementing prevention programs and supporting the overall training and performance of our patients and clients. The role is located in Manhattan, NY.

Qualifications

• Injury Prevention, Athletic Training, and Rehabilitation skills
• Strength & Conditioning and Prevention knowledge
• Experience in sports physical therapy and athletic training
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other trainers
• Certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC), Exercise Physiologist, or PT Assistant
• Knowledge of exercise physiology and anatomy
• Experience with sports-specific training programs
• Understanding of injury prevention techniques
