Description
The Corporate Controller is responsible for all aspects of the company's day-to-day financial functions.The candidate will bring a robust understanding, experience and business insight of U.S GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley, a drive for continuous process, workflow and technology improvement, and a balance between a self-starter and strong leader of functional team with exceptional analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills.
Manage the day-to-day operation of accounting team including technical accounting, financial statement preparation, internal controls, treasury, customer invoicing, credit and collections, direct and indirect taxes and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate and report consolidated U.S. GAAP financial information to the executive team and corporate Parent.Assess current accounting policies, procedures, internal controls and technology with action to implement best-in-class workflows to scale the organization for growth.
Supervise, support, mentor and develop functional reporting team through dynamic and approachable leadership.Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial close and reporting packages.
Assist in preparing and coordinating audits and review by external and internal auditors.
In partnership with CFO, establish financial and operational benchmarks and department level key performance indicators, using the Fortive Business System to drive improvement.
Leadership over development and sustainment of company SOX program, including interim testing and reporting on operating effectiveness of internal control environment.
Review and direct complex customer contracts and pricing with seller organization.Preparation and review of company payroll, commissions and variable compensation.
Facilitate culture of continuous improvement by seeking opportunities to implement increased efficiency in processes and technology systems to expand the capability of accounting and finance teams.
Ad hoc duties as required.7+ years proven experience in progressive growth within finance and accounting roles, preferably within the SaaS industryStrong business insight and application of GAAP and local statutory/tax regulations, specifically understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognitionConfirmed experience leading and inspiring teams to meet business objectives with outstanding results and on-time deliveryProficiency in Microsoft Office with solid Excel skillsExperience using technology to support and scale a businessStrong U.S.
GAAP, SOX and SEC reporting experienceInterpersonal Skills / Characteristics:Ability to develop hard-working teams in fast growth environmentAbility to establish trust, respect, credibility and form close working relationships with all levels on a cross functional basisA hands-on work style, detail oriented, and able to move seamlessly between tactical and strategic issues as requiredClear and effective written and oral communication and presentation skillsAbility to meet required timelinesEducation:Public Accounting roots and Certified Public Accountant preferred, but not required

National:
The salary range for this position is $106,600- $198,000This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to:job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
