About The Role


In the Staff Internal Auditor role you are learning about the details of the work of internal audit at FTI and how you are to use the various tools and protocols employed by our function.

In this role, you will assist the Senior Internal Audit, Audit Supervisor, and Internal Audit Manager and so on to complete the internal audit work in a high quality, efficient manner resulting in effective communication of audit results.


What You'll Do

  • Work with the guidance of internal audit management, supporting various aspects of financial and operational audits.
  • Support data analysis activities using basic data analytics techniques and tools to contribute to audit processes.
  • Participate in auditing financial and operational records of departments and operating entities, focusing on accounting controls and the accuracy of financial accounts.
  • Participate in process walkthroughs.
  • Contribute to the preparation and submission of audit findings, and assist in presenting them to internal audit management.
  • Begin to develop relationships with employees at various levels within the organization.
  • Seek assistance when needed to accomplish internal audit goals.

What You Will Need To Succeed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or CPA eligible
  • Minimum of 01 year of experience in a public accounting external/internal audit role with relevant SOX experience, or an advanced technical degree
  • Ability to travel internationally, potentially up to 20%30% travel at times.
  • Advanced experience with planning and performing data mining/data analytics techniques and tools.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis; this position will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CISA, CITP, CFE or CIA are encouraged
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PC and network environment with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced experience with planning and performing data mining/data analytics techniques and tools
  • Experience performing internal audits
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong skills in performing data analytics to accomplish internal audit requirements
  • Selfconfidence and excellent interpersonal communication skills
