- Communicating effectively and respectfully with patients and colleagues, embodying high levels of customer service.
- Reporting any changes in patient conditions promptly to the registered nurse, including vital signs, ADL's, and other relevant information.
- Recording vital signs as required and monitoring fluid intake and patient weights.
- Assisting patients with personal care tasks and mobility to prevent complications.
- Providing patient education on various topics, such as spirometer use and fall prevention.
- Maintaining a clean environment for patients to support healing.
- Remaining flexible to support both patients and team members as necessary.
- Regularly checking on each patient to ensure all responsibilities are fulfilled and patient needs are addressed.
- Education: Must be at least 18 years old with a GED or high school diploma.
- Experience: Previous experience in patient care is desirable.
- Licensure: Not mandatory.
- Certification: BLS certification is provided if necessary.
- Physical Requirements: Involves manual dexterity, lifting light loads, sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods, and operating job-related equipment.
