Since 1957, we've assisted a wide array of populations throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, focusing on those generally underserved by traditional services including senior citizens, veterans, individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, individuals on the autism spectrum, and youths who have aged out of foster care.

To further our mission we are looking for an
Administrative Assistant.


Position Overview:


  • Provide clerical support services to the Property Manager at Quemahoning.

Responsibilities:


  • Mail out verification forms
  • Compiling and recording maintenance work orders
  • Open and distribute all mail
  • Record and process rental collections
  • Work with residents in addressing complaints and routing requests for work
  • Meet with applicants
  • Order supplies at the direction of the Property Manager
  • Prepare and distribute a monthly Newsletter
  • Process rent rebates
  • Keep resident records current
  • Work with social services and community when directed
  • Help residents with forms, social security information, insurance, letters, etc.
  • Assist residents with lock outs
  • Other duties as directed by the Property Manager

Job Requirements:


  • High School education or equivalent
  • Experience in handling financial matters
  • Computer experience
  • Ability to deal with people in a variety of situations
