We pride ourselves on helping all of our clients to achieve more self-sufficient lives.Since 1957, we've assisted a wide array of populations throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, focusing on those generally underserved by traditional services including senior citizens, veterans, individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, individuals on the autism spectrum, and youths who have aged out of foster care.
To further our mission we are looking for anAdministrative Assistant.
Position Overview:
- Provide clerical support services to the Property Manager at Quemahoning.
Responsibilities:
- Mail out verification forms
- Compiling and recording maintenance work orders
- Open and distribute all mail
- Record and process rental collections
- Work with residents in addressing complaints and routing requests for work
- Meet with applicants
- Order supplies at the direction of the Property Manager
- Prepare and distribute a monthly Newsletter
- Process rent rebates
- Keep resident records current
- Work with social services and community when directed
- Help residents with forms, social security information, insurance, letters, etc.
- Assist residents with lock outs
- Other duties as directed by the Property Manager
Job Requirements:
- High School education or equivalent
- Experience in handling financial matters
- Computer experience
- Ability to deal with people in a variety of situations
