Restaurant Server Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide courteous and prompt service to guests
  • Follow Emily's Steps of Service
  • Enter guest orders accurately into the Breadcrumb POS system
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the menu and beverages
  • Personalize the guest experience by understanding their needs
  • Communicate guest requests, including dietary restrictions, to the culinary staff
  • Assist with opening and closing duties
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Keep a positive and outgoing attitude during service
  • Promote a safe environment for yourself, co-workers, and guests
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Restaurant Server Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of serving experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong customer service, cash handling, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of responsible alcohol service
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate well with co-workers
  • Passion for hospitality and the food & beverage industry
  • Flexible schedule availability
  • Ability to perform physical tasks and stand for extended periods
