**Operations Supervisor** **|** **$18/hr PLUS BENEFITS**
As the Operations Supervisor, you will be rotated through departments every 4-6 months, acting as a Supervisor within the department at the time. This role is aimed to train and retain growing hospitality professionals while helping them cultivate their own career within hotel management.
You will directly oversee Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, and Front Desk team members at different intervals of time. If you are an individual looking to expand your professional skills to one-day progress into hospitality management, this is the role molded for you. In this role, you are a significant part of the property's leadership team and work closely will all hotel operational departments to ensure the guest experience goes off without a hitch. If you are someone who's great at modeling the behaviors and actions that help culture leaders and team players, you could be the perfect fit for us
You are a coach and mentor to your team, while still holding them accountable for their results. You are in turn accountable for your department. From onboarding, training, leading, mentoring, performance management and succession planning, you support your team's development while meeting the needs of the guest and achieving the company's goals.
**Responsibilities:**
Assisting with writing schedules, evaluating, and directing all personnel.
Keeping open verbal and written communication between the management and associates.
Providing associates with the tools and equipment they need to do their jobs.
Taking immediate action on problems that are encountered in the kitchen, rooms, or pertaining to guest satisfaction or quality of service.
Participating in monthly department meetings and monthly inventory and the MOD program.
Ensuring all service is of high quality, food is properly prepared according to recipe and is expedited to all outlets in a smooth and efficient manner
Performing table touches and maintaining communication with guests to ensure that everyone is always satisfied
Being passionate to help in all areas of foodservice and as needed in other areas of the hotel operation.
Assisting in the establishment of goals, standards, and objectives, which will further the prestige and reputation of the organization as well as result in a more profitable operation.
Properly checking out all staff at the end of shift to assure cleaning and closing duties are completed. Writing and presenting disciplinary action as needed.
Supervising the entire kitchen staff, housekeeping staff or front desk staff in the absence of the department manager. Also, all utility and sanitation associates; and to provide supervisory guidance, aid and counsel for all associates.
