- Supervise staff involved in inbound, city, and outbound freight operations
- Ensure achievement of production targets by managing tonnage, payroll, and other administrative tasks
- Create daily work schedules for hourly employees to meet operational objectives
- Enforce company, FMCSR, OSHA, and DOT policies, regulations, and laws
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to employees in alignment with company standards
- Exhibit and uphold our values while motivating your team to adhere to high standards
- 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation, or a related field
- Familiarity with the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT rules
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Distribution, or Logistics, or 4 years of relevant work/military experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience, ideally in the LTL industry
- Positive attitude, multitasking abilities, and team motivation skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities
- Regularly lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and occasionally over 75 lbs.
- Perform tasks like reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling
- Stand and walk for extended periods on a potentially slippery, non-climate-controlled loading dock
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
