    Financial Clearance Specialist in Melville, NY

    LHH is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist for a client in Melville, NY. Ideal candidates must have previous experience interacting with payers regarding patient insurance and eligibility. This position is fully on-site and is looking to fill the role promptly.

    Summary:

    • Hiring method: Direct-Hire / Permanent
    • 100% on-site
    • Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM / Standard Business Hours

    Responsibilities include:

    • Acting as the primary contact to confirm coverage details
    • Primarily dealing with payer communication, limited patient interaction
    • Checking the extent of covered visits, services included, etc.
    • Confirming patient network coverage
    • Initial assessment for new provider visits

    Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria:

    • Minimum of 1 year experience in Financial Clearance/Coordination
    • Proficient in patient eligibility, insurance verification
    • Sound understanding of government and private payers
    • Previous EMR experience, familiarity with insurance validation software
    • Exceptional communication abilities
