    Candidates will be taught to perform routine preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and troubleshooting / repairing equipment failures.

    This position will employ a pay for knowledge concept, so as you obtain knowledge and can demonstrated proficiency in the required skill sets, your pay will increase with each step.

    *POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing for the day-to-day preventive maintenance, repair, and fabrication necessary to maintain facility manufacturing machinery including conveyors, grinders, shredders, screeners, and etc.

    As an Maintenance Technician, you must have the ability to understand mechanical\\electrical and technical repair manuals. Performs other maintenance duties as required to promote overall plant safe production.

    *KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Repair and PM industrial equipment
    • Inspect and communicate condition for machinery per PM
    • Adhere to Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policy
    • Inventory tool supply and maintain shop cleanness
    • Provide leadership to machine operators as needed
    • Metal fabrication using cutting torch, welder, and other power tools
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA procedures and practices
    • Complete paperwork on work orders and PM checklists recording all repairs and any parts used
    • Perform safety inspections on machine guarding, fire prevention equipment, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned
    *EDUCATIONAL AND JOB EXPERIENCE:

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent
    • Industrial Maintenance experience (preferred)
    • Welding experience (preferred)
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
    • Proven success delivering results through people.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels of the organization
    • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical mechanical issues
    • Mechanical Aptitude is a must
    • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred not required
    *ABILITIES REQUIRED*While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers, to handle or fell objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree, and/or pulling of controls

    *Salary:

    _*$5,000 - Sign on Bonus *_with a payout as follows:
    $1,000 - paid following 30 days active employment
    $1,000 - paid following 90 days active employment
    $1,000 - paid following 180 days active employment
    $2,000 - paid following 365 days active employment

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


    Heavy Work:
    Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

    Exerting 50 – 100 pounds of force occasionally

    Exerting 25 – 50 pounds of force frequently
