The Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A Analyst) is a key member of the FP&A team responsible for financial analysis, forecasting/budgeting, and management reporting.

In this role, you will partner across multiple levels of the organization and additionally provide support to the executive team.

This is a great opportunity to gain C-level exposure while helping drive better business decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare monthly budget to actual analyses and financial review for management team
  • Ability to manage large sets and data and spreadsheets
  • Contribute to greater finance team, tasked with providing relevant monthly, quarterly analytics to support decision making and strategy formulation
  • Assist business unit leadership in providing information, clarity, analysis, & insights to support key business decisions related to major investments and/or changes in financial, operational, or strategic direction
  • Support key performance indicators (KPI) to measure monthly results of business segments
  • Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports
  • Communicate with coworkers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner
  • Follow policies and procedures for business unit financial reporting and planning performance measurement and analysis
  • Assist ERP implementation team in determining what financial data to capture in ERP system to help management determine financial wellbeing of company
  • Support Company transactional efforts to ensure proper financial planning and accounting treatment
  • Support the development of policies, procedures and systems to meet company objectives
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
  • Stays abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance for the finance function

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • BS / BA in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field (CPA a plus)
years of relevant accounting, finance or FP&A corporate professional experience

  • Highly familiar with financial modeling/planning and scenario analyses with strong technical & analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Business Intelligence tools, and financial systems skills
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

- $72,700 - $87,000 base salary, plus bonus potential.
