What to expect:

Investigation and legal decisionmaking in regulatory and (extra)judicial proceedings in data protection as well as compliance, outsourcing, and service provider control matters
Drafting of legal relationships, e.g. review and negotiation of contracts and contract clauses
Provision of legal advice, e.g. regulatory and data protection advice and support for management and departments on compliance, data protection, and outsourcing matters, as well as in the drafting, development, and approval of contracts
External representation, e.g. towards the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and other authorities, during annual audits, with state data protection officers, the German Federal Bank, and supervisory authorities, with product partners, in associations, conferences, and working groups
Selection, commissioning, management, and coordination of external lawyers and data protection officers in the relevant area
Regulatory risk management, e.g. decisionmaking on the formation and amount of provisions and writedowns for general compliance, regulatory, and data protection matters, creation and maintenance of guidelines, support for the identification, assessment, and management of operational compliance, regulatory, and data protection risks
Management of a department with dedicated employees
Legal monitoring and mediation, e.g. through the design and implementation of training sessions

What we expect:

Successfully completed degree in law with first and second state examination or in business or economics with relevant training in data protection and outsourcing management or corporate organization
