Key Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Unloading log trucks.
  • Properly handle, roll out, and store logs in inventory.
  • Become proficient in log scaling and tagging of logs.
  • Follow established procedures to document and track the receipt, movement, and sale of logs.
  • Clean up Log yard as needed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Learn and be proficient at operating a chainsaw.
  • Learn the shipping LT system for green lumber transfers and 3rd party sales.
  • Assist receiving, loading, selling, and shipping lumber process.
  • Other duties as required by the manager

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent


Competencies:


  • Must follow all established safety policies. Must have good safety record and a positive, cando attitude.
  • Be adaptable, work where needed as required Must be able to work any shift
- overtime, weekends, holidays as required and in all conditions.

  • Capable of completing required documentation
  • Able to work as a team, get along with team members; give and take advice and criticism from other team members
  • Cross train in other production related jobs
