Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Assist with bookkeeping duties including data entry, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and account analysis
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to maintain financial records
- Keep track of cash balances in bank accounts. Run reports as needed.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and event attendance arrangements for staff members
- Provide support to the management team by conducting research, preparing presentations, and drafting correspondence
- Assist with taxrelated tasks and work closely with our Accountant
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, and other accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
- 10key typing skills is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus (Translation for only Spanish speaking employees.
