Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
- Assist with patient assessments and collaborate in the development of care plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and treatments
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Experience:
- Opthalmic surgery required.
- IV insertion
- Acute care
- Senior care
- Outpatient services
- Ambulatory Surgery Center required
Requirements:
- Must be an experienced licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is a plus
- Proficient in providing care for patients with various medical conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
