What to expect

  • Developing schedules and duty plans for sustainable bus and tram operations using Fox Chase software
  • Creating duty sequence plans and providing personnel scheduling
  • Assisting with strategic offer and network planning
  • Generating various output products, such as timetables
  • Maintaining data in downstream systems of schedule and duty planning (e.g. ITCS, timetable information, depot management)
  • Conducting analytical traffic studies and evaluating statistical data (e.g. travel time analysis, passenger counts)

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in traffic engineering, transport economics or a related field, or several years of professional experience in schedule and duty planning
  • Knowledge of the basics of public transport traffic and network planning
  • Understanding of the technical, legal and organizational aspects of schedule and duty planning and personnel scheduling
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with schedule and duty planning software and graphic programs, and willingness to quickly learn new programs
  • Independent, analytical and reliable work style
  • Teamwork, high level of initiative, flexibility and resilience
