Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements
- Conduct legal research on various topics and compile relevant information
- Manage and organize legal correspondence and documentation
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain attorney calendars
- Prepare and organize materials for trial or court proceedings
- Assist in drafting correspondence and communicating with clients
- Maintain electronic filing systems and document management systems
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Skills:
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional organizational abilities to maintain files and records systematically
- Proficiency in legal research techniques and resources
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in legal documents
- Familiarity with document management systems for efficient workflow
- Ability to conduct interviews with clients or witnesses as needed
- Proficient in data entry with attention to detail
- Knowledge of legal case management procedures
- Capability to transcribe legal documents accurately
- Understanding of contract drafting and review processes
