    This role is for the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) System Administrator - Level 2 for the F-35 program at the Lockheed Martin, USAF Plant 4 facility in Fort Worth, TX.

    The successful candidate must be able to obtain, and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security) within 3 months of hire.


    The system Administrator is responsible for providing the overall on-site ALIS maintenance and support and serves as the primary point of contact for any internal and external customer needs, questions, or concerns.


    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Backups, restores, and disaster recovery of the system
    • Hardware/system monitoring and performance tuning
    • Database health monitoring
    • Monitor Dataflow and take corrective actions when required
    • Performs system/software/user maintenance and maintaining system documentation
    • Setting up administrator and service accounts.
    • Installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
    • Interacting daily with users and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the ALIS product suite.
    • Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multiuser computer systems through coordination with other administrative disciplines (security, database, and network Support).
    • Training fellow system administrators and users on the ALIS systems as needed and validating System Administrator knowledge.

    This is an operational support role, so the selected candidate may be required to support rotating shifts and work weekends and normal off shift time - as dictated by mission requirements.

    Job is initially offered as a 4x10B Tuesday-Friday second shift, but must be willing to work varied shifts and flexible schedules to meet emergent customer mission requirements or operational needs.

    Candidates must be able to qualify and obtain a DoD Secret clearance, or have a Clearance with a background investigation closure date within the last 6 years and be able to attain and maintain Program access.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Candidates must be able to obtain and hold an active DoD Secret clearance and be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
    • Previous System Administrator Experience
    • Systems administration experience with servers and network installations/integration
    • Must be able to Posses DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security) within 3 months of hire
    • A willingness to work varied shifts and flexible schedules to meet customer mission requirements

    Desired skills

    Interpersonal skills to interact daily with users, acting as a liaison for the ALIS product suite

    System Administration experience, which may include:

    • Applying operating system updates, antivirus/antispyware updates, and patch updates.
    • Experience troubleshooting Web Applications.
    • Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components.
    • User Account Maintenance (Active Directory)
    • Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the F35 and JSF ALIS hardware and software.
    • Working knowledge of Networked Attached Storage (NAS) systems and supported protocols.

    Remote Telework:

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.


    Work Schedule Information

    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


    Colorado Pay Statement

    Pay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $67,400 - $129,300 .

    (Washington state applicants only)

    Non-represented full-time employees:

    accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

    Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

    PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

    This position is incentive plan eligible.


    Premium Pay Statement

    Pay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,600 - $146,000.
