Maintenance Technician - Austin, United States - Harbor Healthcare System
Description
Responsible for working on all healthcare properties and offices. Will provide a well-maintained, clean, physically safe, accessible and welcoming environment for patients, staff and visitors. Will contribute to and work within a safe working environment.Will comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe systems of work, reporting of any defects immediately to the Supervisor.
Will meet with meet with contractors as needed; and occasionally monitor contractors working in the vicinity.Qualifications:
- Highly motivated individual
- Oversees all maintenance and care of the interior and exterior of healthcare properties and offices.
- Plans and coordinates monthly fire alarm drill
- Assists housekeeping staff maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Maintain, revise and update all facility logs according to state requirements
- Maintains facility to exceed state requirements.
- Pays meticulous attention to detail and is thorough and precise
- Must be comfortable in a fastpaced, highpressure level position
- 1+ years' experience preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to travel must have reliable transportation
- Clean background and drug screen

Work Hours:
- Monday
