Description

TPAPT, a national consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated Tutoring & College Advising Programs, is seeking an experienced on-site SAT Math Tutor to work with students in the Jenkintown, Lansdale, and Montgomeryville, PA, communities.


You will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.


Location:
Jenkintown, PA and surrounding


Compensation:
$30/hr-$50/hr


Classification:
Part-time Employee


Tutoring Type:
Private Learning Center, 60-90 minute lessons


Responsibilities

  • Provide inperson tutoring sessions to students in grades 91
  • Create lesson plans for individual students.
  • Assign question sets and review answers
  • Collaborate with students' families to keep them apprised of student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of session details, scores, and student progress.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Access to a reliable car
  • Experience teaching and/or tutoring students in grades 9 to 1
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 412 hours per week of availability.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $50.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Choose your own hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work setting:

  • Development center
