Description
1. Work in a safe manner in a safe environment.- Responsible to perform to the production schedule to include starting production on time to the assigned machines.
- Capable of producing rubber on the mills.
- Capable of laying out rubber from the lab mills.
- Capable of operating the Injection Molding Equipment (DESMA), Transfer Presses, and Compression Presses.
- Capable of producing Phenolic and Rubber pieces.
- Capable of assembly of Composite & Micrologic Pads.
- Capable of part preparation to include sandblasting, painting and assembly.
- Responsible to keep their area clean.
- All other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Ability to read and operate a micrometer
- Ability to read and operate a caliper
- Can read, write, and speak English
- Experience with phenolic molding
- Experience with quality testing and measurement
- Able to work 6 days per week if needed
- Able to work 12-hour shift and swing shifts
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds
- Able to perform simple math calculations
