Position Purpose

  • To provide all aspects of direct patron service at the Baker-Berry public service desks and provide support for other areas of Access and Delivery Services and the library.

  • Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work efficiently; set and modify work priorities; while under pressure and despite interruptions.
  • Ability to work collegially in a team environment.
  • Customer service experience with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two to three years relevant library experience.
