Description

Jantec, Inc., a service provider to the government and its affiliates is accepting immediate submissions for one (1) full time Stock Clerk (40 hours per week) and one (1) part time Stock Clerk (16 hours per week) to support the warehouse mission for our client the Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado CA.

• Receive, store, and issues equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, tools, etc., and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard/area
• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice; examines stock to verify conformance to specifications
• Stores articles in bins, on the floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size, or type of material
• Fills orders or issues supplies from stock
• Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock
• Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders
• Compiles records on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damaged stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments
• May mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds independently and occasionally in excess of 45 pounds
• All other duties as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS)

• Must be able to clear preemployment background check and drug test
• Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) prior to starting assignment
• Must comply with COVID Policies as outlined by the Naval Air Station North Island
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Must be proficient in data entry
• Accuracy is a must
