Our direct client has an opening for a System Administrator position # This position is for 4-12+ months, with option of extension, and will be worked on-site in Jefferson City, MO (Candidate must work CST business hours).

Job Description:

Duties include:

- Process requests to create, modify and delete Active Directory (AD) accounts

- Process requests to create, modify and remove access to applications and resources in the State's network via group memberships.

- Process requests to create, modify and delete e-mail, resource, contacts and distribution groups in the Exchange management console.

- Create and maintain documentation for assigned areas.

- Assist other IT teams with troubleshooting access to various resources within the network.

- Ensure standardization, compliance and enforcement of policies and daily operating procedures.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Knowledge and experience with Windows desktop operating systems.

- Knowledge and experience with Active Directory and Exchange management consoles.

- Working knowledge of PowerShell and the ability learn new operations.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personnel.

- Knowledge of computer/network systems infrastructure requirements and standards.

- Ability to learn and grow their troubleshooting skills in relation to the Active Directory and Exchange environments.

- The ability to address multiple projects/tasks on a daily basis and possession of strong troubleshooting skills are key.

Years of Experience

- Two (2) years IT experience
