- BS or BA Degree in Supply Chain Management preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of buying/planning of materials with experience in an ERP or MRP environment is required.
- MUST have experience in preparing import/export documents.
- APICS certification is CPIM or CIRM desired. CPM certification is also a plus.
- Experience in Sourcing and Purchasing with foreign countries.

Overview
Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, this high visibility position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the materials planning and buying to support the company's production needs and sales plans in a timely and efficient manner.
Equally important, the incumbent will manage and optimize related inventory programs without negatively impacting production to gain the best use of working capital.
They will have knowledge around purchasing products that tie to commodity markets, understanding and monitor market conditions for critical commodities/materials to determine opportunities and risk for price and availability as well as a high level of experience in Forecast Management.
