Future Tasks

In your role, you will be fully involved in the overall vehicle development of next-generation automobiles and gain comprehensive insights into the development process through coordination with the specialist departments.

You will create weight forecasts for future vehicle models and provide weight data to specialist departments throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
Using customized database software, you will track weight changes and have an overview of the variance within vehicle projects.
You will support your weight forecasts with DMU analyses, improving data quality.
You will not lose sight of weight targets and will conduct lightweight construction workshops.
You will conduct competitor comparisons and identify conceptual and detailed lightweight potential.
You will validate weight data with real vehicles by weighing prototypes and pre-production vehicles and conducting statistical data analysis.
You will perform loading and equipment calculations and ensure weight limits are met.
You will shape the processes of tomorrow and contribute your own ideas.
You will have the freedom to automate sub-processes and advise clients with your expertise.

Your Profile

Preferably a Master's or PhD in an engineering discipline (e.g. automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or industrial engineering).
Good knowledge of a high-level programming language such as VBA, C#, or Python and a passion for programming.
