Future Tasks
In your role, you will be fully involved in the overall vehicle development of next-generation automobiles and gain comprehensive insights into the development process through coordination with the specialist departments.
- You will create weight forecasts for future vehicle models and provide weight data to specialist departments throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
- Using customized database software, you will track weight changes and have an overview of the variance within vehicle projects.
- You will support your weight forecasts with DMU analyses, improving data quality.
- You will not lose sight of weight targets and will conduct lightweight construction workshops.
- You will conduct competitor comparisons and identify conceptual and detailed lightweight potential.
- You will validate weight data with real vehicles by weighing prototypes and pre-production vehicles and conducting statistical data analysis.
- You will perform loading and equipment calculations and ensure weight limits are met.
- You will shape the processes of tomorrow and contribute your own ideas.
- You will have the freedom to automate sub-processes and advise clients with your expertise.
Your Profile
- Preferably a Master's or PhD in an engineering discipline (e.g. automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or industrial engineering).
- Good knowledge of a high-level programming language such as VBA, C#, or Python and a passion for programming.
