    Organizational Development Employee Engagement Specialist

    JOB SUMMARY:

    Join our team as an Organizational Development Employee Engagement Specialist where you will play a crucial role in driving the City's workforce programs by analyzing and implementing targeted employee engagement initiatives. This dynamic position involves coordinating workshops, conducting research on organizational trends, and leading change management efforts.



    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Implement standardized protocols for pre-employment processes, onboarding, rewards, and recognition.
    • Utilize multimedia resources to enhance employee communications.
    • Research organizational trends to enhance Rewards and Recognition strategies.
    • Create engaging communications material for various core areas.
    • Develop and deliver effective learning and engagement experiences.
    • Coordinate Organizational Development programs and initiatives.
    • Deliver informative presentations on employee engagement and experience.
    • Act as a liaison for Employee Engagement and Employee Experience programs.
    • Utilize data analytics techniques and basic project management skills.


    OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Special project coordination as required.
    • Create tailored approaches to employee engagement challenges.
    • Administer the City's Learning Management System.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Knowledge of office practices, adult learning principles, and graphic design.
    • Skill in pc software, communication, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to exercise discretion, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
    • Operate office equipment and stay updated on industry trends.

    Qualifying Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Graphic Design, Communications / Marketing or related field. 3-5 years of relevant experience.



    Preferred Education and Experience:

    Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Graphic Design, or related field. Experience in administering Learning Management Systems and creating custom engagement solutions.
