Welcome To LifeConnections:

LifeConnections is a behavioral health care provider with residential programs all across Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. We primarily serve adults with developmental disabilities and complex mental health conditions.

We currently have the following position available:

Position:
Part Time Maintenance Worker


Pay:
$35/Hour Hours per Week)


Environment:
Group Home for Adults with Developmental Disabilities


Locations:
Springfield & Surrounding Towns


Summary Statement:

Assists the Maintenance Director in areas related to maintenance, upkeep and general operation of the residential programs and office sites.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist the Maintenance Director in performing the following duties:

  • Performs specialized tasks including; plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, flooring, sheetrock and repair, taping, and all repairs required inside and outside of the facility.
  • Maintains the necessary logs and forms and records required information.
  • Performs building construction as directed by supervisor.
  • Utilizes safety items such as gloves, glasses, etc.
  • Must be able to use ladders, staging, or scaffolding devices as part of normal work routine.
  • Available for emergency work and oncall as needed.
  • Inspect interior and exterior of buildings for needed repairs.
  • Able to monitor sites for compliance with funding source regulations as directed by Maintenance Director (water temperatures, cleared egresses, infestation free sites, etc.)

Secondary Responsibilities:


  • Ensures duties and responsibilities are carried out in a supportive and professional manner.
  • Attends appropriate meetings as directed.
  • Performs other jobrelated projects and activities as requested or directed.

Hiring Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license required & 18+ years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable preemployment checks
  • At least two years of maintenance experience
