- Check schedules and organize patient flow
- Update patient records as needed with new insurance information or changes to personal data
- Verify patient insurance information and obtain the necessary authorizations for services
- Enter charges and payment information into electronic medical records system
- Schedule patient appointments and confirm them according to clinic procedures
- Collect required co-payments and deposits
- Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, supervisors, and patients
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to handle questions and inquiries from both patients and physicians
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
