  • Responsible for adherence to company policies, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
  • Accounts Receivable duties including invoicing and customer aging.
  • Accounts Payable duties including bill entry and payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements including all journal entries.
  • Perform month end consolidations and generate reports.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations on all related accounts.
  • Creates and maintains customer files in accordance with company requirements.
  • Supervise physical inventory counts.
  • Provide reports of activity to President and Plant Manager.
  • Ensure retail store and office work area is maintained clean, orderly and organized.
  • Receives orders for retail and ingredients products and inputs information into electronic inventory management system.
  • Manages incoming calls from customers with a positive attitude that is evident through voice and service provided to customer.
  • Provide support for the retail operations including learning the operation, product, packaging, orders and customers.
  • Advises management of the customer status and problems (or potential problems) on a regular basis. *ADDITONAL RESPONSIBILITY
  • Work and communicate with management and other personnel to ensure adequate customer service and quality standards are met.
  • Responsible for learning the entire product line including retail candies and ingredients manufactured for corporate clients.
  • Responsible for learning and interacting with customers through the company website. *SPECIAL DEMANDS
  • Communicates effectively in speaking, reading, writing, and in listening.
  • Proactive mindset and flexibility are important as well as the ability to work under justintime pressures.
  • Ability to work nights and days, adapting schedule to meet demands. *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 2 year Accounting degree (A.A.S).
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of food manufacturing industry and regulatory inspection procedures is highly desired.
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with a variety of people and businesses. *WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Working conditions are normal for a plant manufacturing food. Food Safety practices are followed and upheld to the full extent. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to fingers, handle objects or things, feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, and hear. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work in a normal food manufacturing environment and the situations it may expose (temperature, noise, etc.).
  • Ability to perform operational/manufacturing functions in order to keep the process viable. Requires bending, lifting, reaching, stretching.
  • May be required from time to time to lift weight up to 20 lbs.
