Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential care and support to individuals in need.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred
- Familiarity with geriatrics, PICU, medicalsurgical care, or hospital medicine is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals of varying needs and abilities

Pay:
$15.00 per hour

- BLS Certification (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Macungie, PA required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Macungie, PA 18062: Relocate before starting work (required)
