    Territory Technology Managers are responsible for developing long term partnerships with existing and emerging users of grade control technologies, as well as driving growth of whole good sales and increasing market share of Topcon products and accessories within an assigned area of responsibility (AOR).

    Territory Technology Manager's expertise will be leveraged, to support McCoy Construction and Forestry's (MCF) efforts to promote, demo, and support John Deere SmartGradeTM products.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Promote and sell technology products in assigned area of responsibility.

    Proactively manage existing customer relationships, as well as develop prospective customers and markets to maximize profitability and grade control market share.

    Maintain an active customer database with customer's current and potential grade control technology needs.
    Establish and maintain a high level of proficiency in construction technology and SmartGradeTM product
    Assist Territory Managers in sales, setup, and support of SmartGradeTM machines.
    Monitor SmartGradeTM and construction technology inventories (levels and/or demand) and give regular updates and/or recommendations to management.
    Assist in the collection of accounts receivables as needed or requested by management.
    Properly document and follow appropriate company processes for all sales, rentals, and demonstrations.


    Qualifications and Skills:
    Must have an understanding of construction technology


    Including:
    GNSS, Total Stations, and Machine Control.

    Construction and forestry experience required.
    Degree in an Engineering/Technology/Marketing discipline or equivalent industry experience. (University Degree or equivalent experience)
    Minimum of 3 years related equipment experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive and work ethic
    Capable of selling, promoting, and marketing
    Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
    Effective working cooperatively in a team environment
    Willingness to travel within assigned territory (up to 75%)
    Knowledge of construction industry (Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others).
