Job Description
The Paid Search Specialist will plan, optimize, implement, and analyze paid and organic search engine marketing activities at the forefront of digital search technologies.
This position is key to future company growth and will be responsible for the top-to-bottom coordination of our pay-per-click campaigns.
The ideal candidate must possess a keen understanding of paid search marketing best practices and PPC advertising technology.Responsibilities
Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include:
Act as a specialist in the search engine marketing (SEM) channel by planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive paid search strategies
Create and manage paid search accounts/campaigns via various PPC marketing platforms, including but not limited to: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Criteo, etc.
Search, Shopping, Display, Remarketing, and Video advertising campaign managementConduct keyword research, write ad copy, and establish bid management strategies to meet and exceed company KPIs
Analyze paid search campaign results and adjust strategy and budgets accordingly
Develop and execute A/B testing experiments for campaigns to discover the most effective campaign configurations
Monitor and manage Google Merchant Center accounts to ensure optimal performance and adherence to guidelines
Use GA4 to develop insights and action items intended to improve paid search performance and meet client goals
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in PPC strategies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies within search and digital marketing landscapes
Drive continued innovation and best practice implementation, regularly sharing knowledge with the marketing team
Leverage cross-departmental collaboration on a variety of projects

Skill SetTo be successful in this role, you must possess the following knowledge and skills:
Fluency in Google AdWords and Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads)
Three years' experience planning, launching, and managing search marketing campaigns across Google AdWords and Microsoft Advertising
Hands-on knowledge of SEM best practices and a proven track record of delivering qualified traffic from both acquisition and conversion standpoints
Working knowledge of GA4 (or other analytics software), conversion tracking, e-commerce, and theinterplay of PPC/SEO and local search
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to derive meaningful actions from large data sets
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
An organized individual with great attention to detail and a focus on quality results
A self-motivated individual and team player
Takes accountability and ownership of one's work
This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of the search marketing funnel including keyword management, campaign messaging creation, bidding strategies, creative testing, and analytics.
