    Turnkey Industries has designed and built state-of-the-art trailers and transporters for a variety of industries. We have extensive experience building technologically advanced trailers in the oil and gas industry. That same expertise is applied to every trailer we manufacture.     We are seeking a motivated, qualified individual to join our company as a Laser Operator who will be responsible for the daily setup, operation, and preventative maintenance of the laser cutting machine.

    This individual will cost effectively produce high quality steel, stainless steel, or aluminum parts efficiently while ensuring conformance to customer drawing and engineering specifications.

    All work will be performed in accordance with applicable guidelines, Company safety procedures, and OSHA regulations. Work performed will be on customized trailers built from ground up. Second shift hours are 3pm - 1am, Monday
    • Friday, with weekends as job demands.
    Duties & Responsibilities Set up, maintain, and operate laser Review blueprints and plan sequence of operation Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point Selects proper cutting programs Load appropriate materials onto laser table and perform laser cutting operations per specifications, work instructions, schedules, and drawings Measure material before and after cutting to ensure compliance with customer specifications and make any adjustments as necessary Deburrs, grinds, and cleans parts as needed.

    Clear trays and conveyors Perform basic preventive maintenance, troubleshoot problems, and make timely repairs Analyze the quality and effectiveness of the work performed Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working order and perform regular maintenance to maximize production Maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure employees follow safety guidelines and perform duties in a safe manner Observe all safety and security procedures, report unsafe conditions, and properly use equipment Maintain open communication with team members and leadership Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required Performs other job-related duties as assigned Requirements High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) At least three years of Laser cutting experience Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities Ability to manually set up, program, and prepare laser machine Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills Ability to read, write, and comprehend associated documents, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to be a self-starter capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, team environment Ability to prioritize workload and meet time sensitive deadlines Demonstrate the ability to safely operate tools and equipment.

    Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures Ability to lift and move up to lbs Physical stamina required for position and the ability to work in extreme weather conditions - heat, cold, etc.
