    Assistant Manager of Operations


    Location:
    Albany, GA


    Position Type:
    Full-Time


    Pay Range:
    $50,000 - $57,000 per year, based on experience

    Center Hours of Operations:
    M-F 7am-7pm & SAT 7am-3pm

    Shifts Available:
    Weekly rotating 8 hr shifts (Opening 6am-3pm & Closing Noon-8pm)

    General Summary:
    We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager of Operations to join our team.

    This role is pivotal in assisting with the daily management of our donor center, ensuring that production goals are met, donor retention is monitored, and compliance with all operational standards is maintained.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the donor center operations in the absence of the Center Manager.
    • Master all areas of the donor collection process to ensure operational excellence.
    • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, local, and company-specific regulations concerning quality and safety.
    • Assist in personnel management functions including hiring, training, disciplinary actions, and maintaining personnel records.
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure the adequacy of goods and supplies.
    • Prepare and submit accurate operational reports as required.
    • Collaborate on staff training and development initiatives to meet center goals.
    • Lead donor recruitment campaigns and staff development programs.
    • Participate in interviewing and selection processes for center staff.
    • Facilitate effective communication and conflict resolution within the team.
    • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations and company policies.
    • Ensure confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree in Science or Business Management preferred.
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role, ideally in a regulated environment.

    Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Manual dexterity, frequent bending, and reaching.
    • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

    Work Environment:

    • Office setting with moderate noise levels and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
    • Occasional exposure to freezing temperatures.
