- Evaluating and comparing alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
- Translating analysis results into actionable recommendations for the US Government agencies
- Communicating cost benefit analysis, ROI, analysis of alternatives to Sponsors to enable their educated & informed decisions.
- Articulating major uncertainties associated with systems architectures, defining risks and opportunities associated with the uncertainties.
- Supporting requirements management, interface management and architecture change management processes
- Modeling architectures of complex systems using standards-based languages (ex. SysML / UML)
- Developing prototypes using Java, Python and related programming languages.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field, 2 + years applicable systems engineering experience; or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Must be a US citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a US clearance.
- Practical understanding of SysML, UML and other modeling tools, as well as Java, Python and related programming languages.
- Familiarity with Cameo / MagicDraw, Doors and similar packages.
- Knowledge of systems architecture and systems design and development.
- Documented ingenuity for applying a set of technical skills across multiple subject matter domains such as healthcare and defense.
- Experience with multi-disciplinary modeling and simulation (physics-level, engineering-level and/or operational-level).
- Project-based teamwork experience
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Must have demonstrated proficiency and strength in verbal, written, PC, presentation, and communications skills.

- Advanced degree in technical field of study
- Preference given to qualified candidates with current clearance.
- Track record of leadership in SE innovation, research, and publishing
- Demonstrated technical management for SE projects that require cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Agile Systems Engineering Department employs technical strategy encompassing system modernization, Model Based Systems Engineering, digital engineering, DevSecOps, and agile development.
