    Description

    Automation Control Engineer

    Amotec, a leading recruiting firm, is conducting a search for an Automation Control Engineer position on behalf of a reputable manufacturing company outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan. This opportunity offers a pivotal role in optimizing electrical automation and controls operations within a global organization. Our client offers a competitive base salary along with bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and life insurance.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a technical resource for production areas, troubleshooting equipment, and enhancing line performance and reliability
    • Perform equipment installation, monitoring, maintenance, repair, and design modifications of advanced manufacturing and industrial process control systems
    • Provide technical coaching, development, and training to electrical/control technicians and other personnel
    • Develop and optimize preventive maintenance plans, supervise execution, and maintain spare parts inventory for control and instrumentation systems

    The Ideal Candidate will have:

    • Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience
    • Proficiency in process automation, PLCs, SCADA/HMI's, industrial robots, process validation and computer programming languages
    • 3+ years of experience as an Automation Control Engineer in a highly regulated industry within manufacturing
