Description

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient service and administrative support in a medical office setting.

Your role will involve interacting with patients, scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
• Collect patient information and update electronic medical records using HIPAAcompliant software.
• Verify insurance coverage
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed

• Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (EPIC) preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
