    Event Concierge - Birmingham, United States - PCH, Inc.

    Description

    • Provide exceptional customer service by being identifiable and accessible at all times, ensuring guests' needs are promptly addressed.
    • Decrease response time from guest contact to fulfilling their needs, demonstrating a proactive and attentive approach to customer service.
    • Promote in-house facilities and have a comprehensive understanding of all hotel amenities and their hours of operation to assist guests effectively.
    • Confer with the Host/Hostess of each function to ensure that all event specifications have been met, ensuring a seamless event experience.
    • Familiarize yourself with each group, including knowing the contact person, meeting agenda, and any specific requirements to provide personalized service.
    • Assist the Director of Event Operations and Event Services Manager with last-minute pop-ups, changes, or requests, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
    • Maintain constant communication with the Director of Event Operations and Event Services Manager to stay informed and updated on event details.
    • Review the Banquet Event Order (BEO) with guests, discussing event times, locations, attendance guarantees, and other relevant details.
    • Attend BEO Meetings as necessary to stay informed and prepared for upcoming events.
    • Be available to handle various event setup tasks, such as arranging easels, sign placements, registration tables, and small meeting setups.
    • Actively solicit feedback from guests to identify opportunities for improving guest services and satisfaction.
    • Participate actively in the Guest Response Program, addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.
    • Issue and follow up on Work Orders to ensure timely completion of maintenance and service requests.
    • Report gratuities by company guidelines and federal regulations.
    • Observe all requirements, training, and restrictions set forth by the ABC board, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
