The Aaron Center is seeking a Medical team support specialist to Support our Psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioner, other medical providers, patients, and treatment team by coordinating care and answering patients' questions, concerns, or needs.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate across disciplines for effective patient care.
- Maintain professional communication with patients and families.
- Manage telehealth patient checkins, including paperwork and information collection.
- Review medical notes for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate medication needs with doctors.
- Handle lab orders and followup.
- Manage all incoming communications.
- Conduct patient measurements and screenings.
- Administer specific screenings like Gene sight and AIMS tests.
- Utilize PDMP for medication history checks.
- Obtain prior authorizations for medications.
- Conduct compliance checks in patient charts.
- Provide clinical support during telehealth sessions.
- Ensure continuity of care between departments.
- Manage team schedules and appointments.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Attend required training sessions.
- Maintain licensure and meet regulatory standards.
- Coordinate care with external providers.
- Provide medication counseling and patient education.

Pay Range:
$ $24.00 / hour
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in premed, medical field, or RN/LPN required.
