The Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture is a public corporation and a modern service provider for agricultural, food and forestry businesses, horticulture and fisheries, as well as a reliable partner for the state of Lower Saxony with approximately employees. We are currently seeking a Coordinator (m/f/d) for the Pig Training Workshop within the Agricultural Department of the 3.4- Agricultural Education Center in Echem.

This position is available immediately or at the earliest possible date and is a full-time, permanent position (currently 39.8 hours/week).

Job Profile:



You will be responsible for the professional management of conventional and organic pig farming in the Pig Training Workshop. This includes coordinating work processes and resource allocation with the goal of strategic development and continuous optimization of the production process. You will also be responsible for coordinating demonstrations and trials in internal consultation with the 3.7 - Animal Breeding, Animal Husbandry, and Experimental Department of the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture. You will be the first point of contact for the barn staff for organization and workplace design and will represent the Pig Training Workshop in tours, specialist events, and with third parties.

The position is classified in pay group 12 of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service of the Federal States (TV-L).
