    2:00-11:00 p.m.- will train on 1st shift for 3 months (6:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.- contact may be extended after December. Looking for 1-3 years of experience.


    Summary:
    The main function of a controls engineer is to initiate control system design from written sequences of operation.

    A typical controls engineer is responsible for designing complex piping and wiring diagrams along with providing technical support across various control systems projects.

    High level automation of stamp parts.

    • Working on electrical HMI's and updating and preventing issues with die changes. The purpose of the team is to keep the press's running on 3 shift operation and 81 different parts they produce.
    • Looking for someone who is team oriented and willing to work out problems as a team. Working with group leaders, die engineer and the maintenance tool equipment.

    Education/Experience:

    • Associate's Degree in a technical field.
    • 1-3 years of experience required.

    Nice to haves:

    Latest automation control technology such as safety programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ethernet communication networks, variable frequency drives, HMIs, Fanuc robotics and vision systems.


    • It is something new everyday with three press lines.
    • Small niche team. 11 salaried folks on the team. Very tight and close team that demonstrates great teamwork.

    Skills:

    • Proficient with application of programmable machine controls hardware and software.
    • Proficient with application of Servo drive hardware and software.
    • Proficient with AutoCad.
    • Familiarity with basic electrical standards.
    • Familiarity with basic safety standards.
    • Capable of supervision.
