We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Senior Program Manager for DEI&B initiatives in San Francisco, CA.
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of strategic programs and initiatives to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within our organization and the broader environmental community.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and drive the implementation of a comprehensive DEI&B strategy that aligns with the organization's mission, values, and goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership, DEI&B committees, and stakeholders to integrate DEI&B principles into all aspects of the organization's operations, programs, and initiatives.
Design, develop, and implement DEI&B programs, initiatives, and training sessions to promote awareness, education, and cultural competency.
Partner with HR, talent acquisition, and other departments to integrate DEI&B principles into recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and talent development processes.
Engage with diverse communities and stakeholders to ensure that DEI&B efforts are inclusive, relevant, and responsive to their needs and perspectives.
Provide coaching, support, and resources to employees, managers, and leaders to foster inclusive leadership practices, behaviors, and culture.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of DEI&B initiatives and programs.
Conduct regular assessments, data analysis, and reporting on DEI&B progress and outcomes, identifying successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Social Sciences, Organizational Development, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in DEI&B, diversity management, or related roles, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.
Strong knowledge of DEI&B principles, best practices, and trends, with a passion for environmental conservation and social justice.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Commitment to environmental conservation, social justice, and advancing equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Experience working in the nonprofit sector or environmental field is a plus.
